Don't You Just Love Surprises?

I was just at home this afternoon relaxing in my jogging bottoms (yes, me and my joggers' have a loving relationship) when my mum bursts in full of shopping bags with a little surprise for me. I had been saying for a while that I wanted some brown ankle boots with 'buckles all over them' and guess what...she brought me some!

These babies are from New Look and they are just what I was looking for :) I love the studs and buckles all over them in pewter and bronze making them a perfect match for any outfit! The little wedge is perfect for boosting me up aswell (yes, the extra 1.5 inches do count when your 5ft5!) They are a mink/light brown coloured suede and come in at just £30, which I dont think is too bad? You can buy them here:

Ooooh I need these ones :) they would also be perfect for a night out when you dont fancy wearing painful heels whilst trawling the streets of town! I can imagine them with a dress to add a real sense of rock 'n' roll to your outfit! Im really loving studs at the moment, they seem to make your outfit so much more edgy. Love it.

Should I Do A 'Christmas Haul' Video??

Ive been thinking of doing a 'Christmas Haul' video on my Youtube channel for a while now and just wanted to get your opinions first? Ive seen quite a few of these going around and they seem to just concentrate on the makeup/beauty items that they have recieved rather than the whole bundle of gifts from lost lost family members! Would this be something you would like to see? If not it is fine :)

You will probably see items that I got for Christmas cropping up in various video's anyway, but I figured it would be best to get your thoughts on the video first as I didnt want to seem like I was bragging about everything I recieved! Let me know :)

Goodbye Bushy Barnette! Hello Sleek Straight Locks!

So last night was a little turning point for my hair's self-confidence. I have always been a lover of big Big BIG curly hair, not leaving the house without my trusty bristle-brush and a handful of backcombing! The next few pictures will probably resemble this perfectly...

 

So you can probably get the idea! I would constantly have little 'toilet breaks' to give my nest a little tease and it was getting ridiculas! I wanted a change, so, last night whilst getting ready to go out I thought I would pull out my blow dryer and straighteners and give my barnet a new sleek, straight look! And I liked it!! :D

Okay, so I know its a funny picture but ignore the fact we are oh so sexily sporting 3D specs and concentrate on my hair! See! Straight and no backcombing in sight! I think it prefer this style now and i'm willing to say that this is a phase that I could well be carrying with me through the next few weeks (until the next phase, atleast!)

I personally like this hairstyle alot more at the moment, it reflects the light so much more making it look shiny and healthy :) So, have you changed any of your hair habits recently? Let me know :)

Its Time We Kicked This Blog Into Shape!

Righty-ho! I have decided...this blog needs some serious TLC and Im going to give it some ;)

From now on, expect to see much more on here because i've decided I want to get back into it. I am going to be giving you a bit more of a personal insight into what I get up to in my life as well as the beauty and fashion related shinanagens that you probably expected :)

Out with the old and in with the new!

So I have been gathering quite an army of the Dove Summer Glow Beauty Body Lotions (self-tanner) for quite some time now (unintendedly!) and the time came to get rid of them! *Boo Hoo!*

They were all sitting there taking up soo much space in my bathroom's storage shelves even though each bottle only had a small amount left inside it. So I thought of a plan....why not squirt the remains of each bottle into some kind of tub?! So low and behold! Thats what I did. I have just recently finished The Body Shop's strawberry Body Butter (200ml or 6.7 OZ orrrr 192 grams!). This was the perfect size for the last drops of my self-tanner to be squirted into!

So I got to it! Here is a rather impressive 'action shot' of the moment!

And here is my result!! Sooooo much space saved and the self-tanner has a swanky (almost) new home! I was actually shocked at the amount of the Dove Beauty Body Lotion I had left! I am rather proud of my self for this one! Hehe!

Well....I've gone and done it! I've got myself a blog! Wahoooo!

Please bare with me as I am just getting to know how it all works out but for now, I thought I would try out a post and see how I like it :)
