Know the Cause Vaginal Discharge and How to Prevent it

One serious problem in women is vaginal discharge. What is the cause of vaginal discharge, is there a food intake that influences the onset of vaginal discharge in a woman? Doctor's statement that the cause is bacteria originated from the lack of cleanliness. So should a woman you need to know the cause vaginal discharge and how to prevent it.

Some causes of vaginal discharge, among others:

1. Infection
* Bacterial, because the use of contraceptives or spiral IUDs, sexual intercourse with multiple partners, etc.. Usually characterized by a thin whitish, grayish white color, and smelled fishy.
* The fungus candida, usually triggered by external factors and the self such as pregnancy, obesity, birth control pills, which decrease the immune system, hot and humid climate, and steroid drugs, antibiotics, or diabetes. Complainant who is white vaginal discharge liquid such as cream, smells, and itching.
* Parasites, commonly Trichomonas vaginalis, which occurs due to illness or sexual contact with a toilet seat or toilet paper that has been contaminated with this parasite. The sign of mucus liquid creamy, thick, frothy, and odorless.
* Virus, caused by sexually transmitted diseases and is regarded as the originator of cervical cancer.

2. Less vaginal hygiene, rinsing the vagina from the wrong direction, ie from the anus toward the front of the vagina.
3. Wearing tight underwear and from synthetic materials.
4. Not leading a healthy lifestyle such as eating irregularly, never exercise, rest less, stress, etc..

There are some diet tips to prevent the discharge:
  • Perform a complete and balanced diet by eating enough carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Consumption of sugar should not be excessive, it is recommended approximately 10 percent of total daily caloric needs (about 2-3 tablespoons / day, including those contained in cooking).
  • Do not consume milk or dairy products to excess, eat as needed. Many people are actually sensitive to milk without ever knowing it.
  • Keep the immune system to meet the need of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and functional foods such as probiotics, prebiotics, omega 3, etc..
  • How about cucumbers, pineapple, and bengkoang? In the nutrient content is not there anything that causes vaginal discharge, but in those who are sensitive to all three meals on the course can lead to excessive vaginal secretions. If supported by the lack of good hygiene, it is very easy to trigger the onset of vaginal discharge.

Blinkbox Competition - Must see films!

As a massive movie buff myself, I just HAD to enter this competition. Blinkbox are giving away 50 free movie vouchers for the first 50 bloggers who blog about films they are dying to see - so if anyone else is interested - get on it!

There are so many films I'm dying to see at the moment (including old classics that I should have seen growing up but um haven't) but here is my list of some contemporary films that I want to see and think everyone should see.

The Fiver Year Engagement
Me and my sister have been planning to see this for the past three weeks - it's the perfect girly rom-com to see this summer and looks like it's nice and lighthearted. Plus, it stars Jason Segal who is a comedy genius and to be fair I'd go and see this movie for that reason alone...

Seeking a friend for the end of the world
This film just seems quite quirky and different - and romantic in a weird way. And I love me my quirky movies. I'm also curious to see Keira Knightly again, I can't remember the last film she was in!

Magic Mike
Do I really need to explain this one?

The Dark Knight Rises
This is a film that everyone has to see, even if they don't like Batman - it's just one of those must see films. Okay, so I know I've technically already seen it, but given that I fell asleep on my date for a good 45 minutes of the film (it's okay, he didn't mind, I think he thought it was sweet!), I'd like to see it again so I can say I actually know what happened in the movie. But be warned, it is THREE HOURS LONG. Pee beforehand. And stock up on Red Bull.

The Amazing Spider-Man
Another must see, even if you don't like Spider Man. I'm quite curious to see how they've rebooted it yet again and of course I have a massive girl crush on Emma Stone.

What films would you like to see this summer?

Acne Caused by a hormonal imbalance?

Acne is not just for young people, but also in adults. It can be a pain, especially if it is triggered by fluctuations in hormonal composition. You never knowThere are a number of acne myths today that the skin care consumer pervades today. Most are on the diet, such as eating chocolate or greasy foods used. Others are psychological or emotional factors such as stress. Yet the truth is - you can never really tell the exact cause of acne, because there are many reasons that can trigger it. It may be due to the genetic makeup of the person, hormonal imbalance in the body, poor hygiene and nutrition. What is certain is that acne is common during the adolescent period.According to the American Academy of Dermatology, this is due to the fact that a hormonal imbalance occurs most frequently during this phase. Also, in certain cases, such as hormonal fluctuations occur in female adults. This shows clearly that the apparent links to the imbalance of hormones and acne that regardless of your age, may be found on the skin and effort you will be displayed.

You are not aloneThis is the reason why acne can be caused by hormonal imbalance rather annoying. It is not because of poor hygiene and skin care. Neither is it due to poor diet or skin health. Sometimes acne appears only because your body is changing the composition itself. It is normal and it happens to many people. So if you ever feel that you are the only person suffering from acne, are thinking about it only once. Nearly 85% of American teenagers suffer from acne. Also about 20% of adults suffer from such skin problem. If you look around you, people fight these pimples in the same way as you do every now and then. You should understand itAcne because of hormonal imbalance comes in two forms - the inflammatory and non-inflammatory. All this usually takes 90 days to appear. The accelerated time only if your skin problem is exacerbated by external factors such as stress and medication yet.The non-inflammatory types appear first in hard and white shapes as it develops micro comedo. When known, it can be either a closed or an open acne pimples such as blackheads become. The inflammatory acne is caused by hormonal imbalance on the other hand, is developing sore bumps or pimples. You have no opening and they tend to be deeply embedded in the skin. It is filled with pus, when inflammation occurs.Comparatively inflammatory acne is more problematic than the non-inflammatory ones. Apart from the fact that they tend to be more painful to large, so that it is obvious irritating when placed in the area. You can checkBetter yet, in spite of the fact that acne is caused by hormonal imbalance to occur naturally, it is manageable. There are several ways to fix it. Skin care products that focus on controlling acne and blemishes are easily available in the market. They come in different compositions for different skin types. Some can also help you not only in the fight against germs and bacteria that can aggravate your acne, but also to fix your other skin problems such as dryness. In addition, oral treatments such as antibiotics, to fight bacteria that can aggravate your skin problems. The most suitable for you and your condition will be prescribed by your doctor. Treatments with higher grade or concentration are also just in case your acne case is severe.

My Mocktail Review

I was recently contacted by the team at My Cocktail to review some of their latest and new products - 'mocktails' - aka non alcoholic cocktails! The company behind these brand new 'mocktails' are a Manchester based team who specialise in distributing pre-mixed cocktails in pouches, therefore eliminating the need for purchasing and mixing all the different ingredients, drinks and products yourself. The fab idea is perfect for when you don't have the effort or funds to go through the process of making a cocktail up yourself and means that upon buying the pouches of drink, you can pour them out straight and enjoy the cocktails as they are without any additional mixing.

Their new range of mocktails are absolutely ideal for when you want to enjoy a delicious cocktail but don't want to suffer the hangover that comes with them! Cocktails are delicious with or without alcohol and sometimes I myself have found that I'd love to treat myself to a cocktail without actually having to drink any alcohol. Mocktails are perfect for situations like these, or even when you do want to drink them on a night out but you want to start slowly - you can also add your own alcohol to mocktails which means you can drink them by themselves as non alcoholic or add as much or as little alcohol as you like.

I was sent their two brand new mocktails to review which were 'Woo Woo' (a personal favourite cocktail of mine from my student days!) and 'Pina Colada' (which I'd never had before but was delicious!).

I tried the Woo Woo mocktail before a night out with my friend and thought it was delicious. I tried it as it was and my friend had hers with some vodka mixed in - I tried both and honestly could not taste the difference! It was a really nice change to drink whilst we were getting ready together because it kept me in the spirit but stopped me having a bit too much before we'd even left the house. I really liked the fact that I didn't have to miss out and still felt in the party spirit even though essentially I was drinking something that was non alcoholic.

I tried the Pina Colada mocktail with my Mum when we had our weekly Saturday night takeaway and again, I thought it was delicious. The Pina Colada was my Mum's favourite and she said it tasted exactly like a Pina Colada cocktail should. Again it was a nice idea - even though I wasn't heading out that particular night, it was nice to still be able to drink a few mocktails as it was Saturday night after all!

I absolutely love this idea and think that a mocktail is something everyone could benefit from. These mocktails are perfect for situations like a nice summer BBQ or a house party or just getting ready to go out - they are ideal for when you want to get in the mood but don't want to overdo yourself. Additionally, I think they are also quite good for anyone who might be pregnant or something and don't want to let on just yet, or even designated drivers on a night out or at a party.

MyMocktails are the perfect delicious and sophisticated non-alcoholic alternative to two of the most popular cocktails. They are definitely something I will purchase again, most especially for any BBQ's or parties I have coming up.

Mocktails - and other products by the team at My Cocktail - are available in most ASDA stores ready to serve, costing only £2.49 per litre! You can also click here to discover your nearest stock list or to find out more about their different products, and you can join their Facebook page here to be in with the chance of winning prizes weekly.

Scalp Pimples

Scalp pimples or scalp acne are not always the same as garden-variety skin pimples. The scalp is, of course, skin, but scalp pimples usually involve the hair follicles, which get inflamed. The disorder can vary in nature and comes under various scientific names, but basically they all result in small, itchy pustules that are usually first noticed while combing or brushing of hair. Such pimples get infected in no time at all and become a major problem.

The cause of scalp pimples is not clear. In certain cases, micro-organisms such as yeast, mites and the dreaded staph bacterium that often thrive in the uniquely suitable host environment of the scalp can lead to scalp pimples. In such cases, treatment with topical antibiotics such as clindamycin or erythromycin solutions or oral tetracycline may be necessary. In more severe infestations, even steroids may be needed. In milder cases, simple but unrelenting scalp hygiene can resolve the problem.

Pimples

The milder forms of scalp pimples are a nuisance but nothing to worry about. The affected area may respond to the application of a salicylic acid solution or other over-the-counter pimple preparations. There is, however, one drawback: the extreme dehydrating and stripping action of compounds like benzoyl peroxide can have very adverse and permanent effects on the actual hair. At the very least, an unsightly bleaching may take place; at worst one may lose hair. For this reason, the application of pimple-control treatment solutions should be strictly limited to the affected areas.

Routine scalp hygiene should be improved if scalp pimples become evident. A good hypoallergenic shampoo calibrated for oily skin types will definitely be of benefit, since it will limit the occurrence of sebum. Local pimple-control applications will be of maximum efficacy after thorough shampooing.
