After reviewing the Frugel FirmSkin Skin Radiance Gel before a couple of days, Now I am reviewing the Silksplash Neem-Orange Rehydrant Face Wash from Just Herbs. You would not need an introduction for Just herbs I guess, you all would have known about this brand. It is really a nice natural experience to try their products because of their lovely rich packaging and the claims. Let us come to the product now. Don't you feel luxurious of the name Silksplash? That too with Neem-Orange Ingredients? I was really tempted and have been using this face wash for about 2 weeks. Let us now check the product description followed by a detailed review.

Product Description: An ideal rehydrant foaming Ayurvedic cleanser with the natural goodness of neem, Chandan(sandal wood) and honey which gently removes the last traces of dust, grime and make-up residue, yet retaining the inherent moisture of the skin. While Sandal Wood is moisturising and anti-inflammatory, Calendula acts as natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent with sun radiation protective properties. Aloe Vera, Honey and Orange peel deeply moisturize leaving the skin with an amazing sense of freshness and a velvety sheen all day long. My Experience with this Product

This face wash comes in a sturdy transperant bottle which looks amazing with a golden lid and a tiny pamphlet tied on the neck. The product description is written on the phamphet in a lovely way and I loved the idea of their packaging. All their products look so natural and pleasing to the eyes. I have no complaints about the packaging but I wished it be some squeeze type for a better control. This face wash is hygienic to travel and use as it comes in a bottle.

Being honey-sh in colour, this face wash has a runny consistency. I would say this is semi transparent, gel based honey with orange-sh colored face wash. I could really feel the smell of ingredients they mentioned. It delivers a natural smell of orange peels and honey which was so pleasing and refreshing while every wash. I am not sure about how sensitive noses feel as there are no artificial fragrances mixed in this, but the "All Natural" is my go always. To say about the lathering effect, it lathers pretty good. It lathers enough for a perfect wash, neither too less nor too foamy. It's just a myth that only lathering products cleanse well, so get out of it. This face wash is a best example to break that myth.

It cleansed out my skin really well without leaving any slippery feel behind. My skin felt instantly smooth, soft and fresh after using this silksplash face wash. Being a normal to oily skinned person (In summers) this face wash works fine for me. My skin's oil secretion was in control for a long time, on the other hand it doesn't dry out my skin too. It removes all the dirt, grime and light makeup residue easily. A very small amount of face wash is enough for whole face and neck, so a single bottle will last longer. The magical part of this face wash is that, it reduced my acne bumps! Isn't that really great? I was struggling to get rid of my acne for past one week and this does that job. I guess it's all because of the magic of neem and orange. So finally, I am totally in love with this face wash, have no complaints. They do what they claim, but this is not recommended for extremely dry skins in winters as you need to go for some other creamy nourishing one. Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange Face Wash makes a perfect daily refreshing face wash! Your pimples and blackheads won't visit your skin of course.

PROS

1. Read the ingredient list! All natural ingredients are present in one form here.
2. Leaves my skin soft, fresh and smooth after every wash.
3. Prevents excess oil secretion for a decent time. On the other hand, it doesn't dry out skin too.
4. It does the cleansing part well by removing dirt, oil and makeup residues.
5. Spreads smoothly over the skin and gets washed off easily.
6. I loved the natural fragrance. It's not sweet or fruity, but natural.
7. Sturdy and travel friendly packaging. Hygienic!
8. Controls and reduces ACNE! Interesting! A boon to people who suffer from acne often.
9. A perfect everyday face wash for oily and normal skin types. 

CONS

1. I wished it to come in some squeeze or pump type for more easier usage. 
2. This is not a con, I am just mentioning. This face wash is not for extremely dry skins in winters and sensitive noses may feel it a bit heavy. But I am sure, after every wash you will love it.

Nothing else! This is just a fabulous natural face wash which is worth every penny!

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

My Recommendation: This is a must try facial wash for oily and normal skin types. You will love it and stick to it because it is all natural and refreshing!

Will I Repurchase?: Why not? Every time I will. This controls and prevents my acne greatly leaving my skin soft and refreshed.

Suitable for massage of oily skin this gel uses the anti-oxidant and anti-aging effects of fruit poly phenols and essential fatty acids to protect the skin from free radical damage and provide necessary nutrients to the skin to diminish the signs of aging. Regular massage with this gel helps maintain soft, supple and naturally glowing skin.

My Experience with this Product

As I said before, I was very much impressed about Just herbs and their claims. This frugel skin radiance gel comes in a tub and I loved its packaging very much, the tub looks like the some which princesses in ancient times used. It has golden colored top lid which makes it look so attractive. Hence the container is made of thick plastic and is firm, it becomes very travel friendly. The only thing that bothered me is that, I need to dip my fingers inside every time to take the gel out. This might be unhygienic so make sure to keep your hands clean before using the gel.

 To say about the consistency, its neither too thick and nor too thin. It is somewhat like the jellies we eat but still little softer than them. The colour is similar to that of orange juice which makes it very pleasant to eyes. I loved the overall texture and colour. Fragrance is not that sweet, because of it's no artificial perfume formula the fragrance was very natural. It doesn't hurt my nose but I am not yet sure about how sensitive noses feel.  It glides onto skin smoothly and easily, so no complaints about its texture and fragrance.

The very first time I applied it on my skin, it gave out a very cooling sensation calming down my skin. I guessed that this is going to leave a greasy feel behind but not at all, a perfect smooth finish it gives. Not glossy, Not matte, not dry, not moisturized, all it does is smoothed out my skin without any change. I felt very light and convenient soon as I applied this radiance get on my summer oily skin. I used it both at the mornings and nights, my skin felt visibly firmer after a week of usage. This skin gel suits oily skins best without leaving any greasiness and it also softens and firms skin with daily usage. The gel feels a bit sticky for 2 minutes after application, but completely dries off giving a smooth finish after that.

PROS

1. Cooling sensation with every application. This calms down damaged or burnt skin very well.
2. I experienced no side effects like breakouts or something.
3. Leaves skin smooth and oil free. It gives a natural look, neither shiny nor matte.
4. Perfect moisturizer for extremely oily skin. Do not get disappointed with the stickiness, it disappears in seconds.
5. Firms and softens skin with regular usage. 
6. I felt soft glow on my skin after regular usage.
7. A very small quantity is enough for whole face, hence the quantity is good. Can't blame the price.
8. Contains natural fruit extracts, yes! I felt the slight fruity smell.
9. Sturdy and travel friendly packaging.
10. Just herbs products are free from artificial perfumes, chemicals and preservatives.
11. 100% Vegan and non tested on animals.
12. Anti aging claim may be true because it firms skin. Great pick for 30+ people if you have oily skin.

CONS 
Sorry.. No cons I could find!

Nothing else I can mention as con. Of course, this radiance gel is not meant for dry skins but that cant be taken as a con because this product is specially formulated for oily skin and no such dry skin claims. You can try the other variants from this range, dry skins!

My Recommendation: I highly recommend this to extremely oily and oily skin types. Normals can pick this in summers and not for dry skins, try other variants from this range. Makes skin soft, firm and glow with regular use.

Will I Repurchase?: Of course. This product is going to my HG list on summers! It cools down skin like anything, softens and firms.

My Experience with this Product

I love anything natural on my skin. That too Almonds? They are my favorite skin nuts. Whenever my skin feel lifeless or tanned I just smash some almonds with milk and cover it up. An instant skin nourishing mask is done. When I came to know about this skin food, I was super excited because of the almond content. The product comes in tub packaging, which is not so preferable for me but still it is okay because a vacuum lid is inside to prevent spillage. The tub is transparent, firm and travel friendly.

   A very thick, creamy rich consistency it has, as same as cow butter. The cream has a slight peachy tint, just very slight and smells good too, even bearable for sensitive noses. Due to the thick consistency of the cream, it takes little more time to get completely absorbed by the skin. The product claims to work on normal and dry skin and so I felt this a little heavy on my normal skin. I guess it is one of the best winter pick for normal skins. Oily skins never go for it because your skin will end up in looking greasy. Do you have dry skin? Then this one is best for you anytime.

This cream doesn't make skin look much greasy, but actually my skin felt greasy a bit after application. Even though it feels heavy on my normal to oily skin, I used this as a night cream to notice the results. After two weeks of usage, my skin is noticeably soft and firmer than before. It also helped reducing some fine lines under my eyes. So, overall it is a great smooth moisturizer for dry skin types as per the claim. Aloe and sandalwood ingredients are more plus. It may be pricey for few, but worthy for the results. 40+ women will love it however even young ones can try it.

PROS

1. Smooth, creamy and thick consistency which is easily spreadable. 
2. Smells good. Some herbal + nutty mix it is. Even sensitive noses wont hate it. 
3. Contains natural ingredients like Sandalwood, Aloe and Sesame.
4. Really it acts as a great skin food for dry skins! Heals and nourishes well. Worthy try!
5. Winter pick for normal skin types. Nourishes skin well.
6. Softens and firms skin with regular use. Difference in fine lines is visible.
7. Can be used as a night cream too with slight massaging.
8. A great natural anti aging product for 40+ beauties. It actually nourishes well. 
9. No side effects and I have experienced no breakouts too.
10. Pack is firm and travel friendly.

CONS

1. Not for oily skin. Do you think this as a con? Of course not because they doesn't claim (I am just mentioning)
2. Normal skins may feel it greasy on summers.
3. Tub packaging is not hygienic. I would love to get it in tube. 
4. Might be little pricey for a moisturizer. But it is worthy as well.

Overall Rating: 4/5

My Recommendation: This is a must try skin food for dry skin types. It nourishes and moisturizers well however dry your skin is. The staying power is great too. Normals, get one in winters and a big no-no for oily skinned girls.

Will I Repurchase?: Of course yes! because it improves my skin softness and texture. Waiting for next winter!

Vedic Line Papaya Scrub Review

Hey buddies! Yesterday we were seeing about the Vedic Line Papaya Face Pack and now comes the scrub review. I love all the products which have papaya content because it's my favorite skin fruit. I never eat it but love to use on my face for a glowing effect. The Vedic Line Papaya Face Pack and scrub are more or less same except the walnut ingredient in the scrub. As I already reviewed the face pack clearly, I am going to finish this short and sweet. I highly recommend to read the Papaya Face Pack Review here, so that you can get an idea. Okay now let us move on to the review of Vecic Line Papaya Scrub.

To Promote Fairness and Blemish Free Skin

Keeps skin amazingly clear. Made from Papaya most nutritious fruit, supposed to be melting and removing extra melanin. Natural Papaya acids may cause tingling for a few moments. "Do not over scrub, it increases skin's sensitivity"

Usage Directions: Gently massage for 2 to 3 minutes on wet skin.

My Views and Ratings

The Packaging

The Vedic Line Papaya Face Scrub comes in a pack as same that of the Papaya face pack, in a semi transparent tub with a screw top lid with an inner vacuum lid inside to prevent spillage. Even though I don't prefer tub packaging, this one is quite good I feel because the consistency cant be squeezed from a tube. The pack is very sturdy and travel friendly.

Colour, Consistency and Fragrance

It has a muddy texture with a normal consistency, not too runny but surely a little thinner than the papaya face pack from Vedic Line. The consistency is perfect for a scrub to spread easily and workout on skin. It has tiny walnut shells floating on it which looked very sweet and the fragrance is adorable too, as same that of the face pack. Nothing I see artificial in this scrub.

How it Works

A very little amount of scrub is enough for the whole face and neck, it spreads very easily and smoothly. The walnut shells exfoliated my skin and removed tan up to an extent within a week of usage but I wished the shells could be a little more gentle. So that this will become a perfect facial scrub for all types of skin. You can very gently scrub this over your facial skin so that no chance of over exfoliation at all. It's just perfect I feel, I use this as my body scrub too. The walnut shells are perfect for my body skin. This scrub leaves skin incredibly soft instantly and refreshes skin. Use this for a brighter, tan free and blemish free skin. A moisturizer is highly recommended after every usage.  To be more natural, you can use the Vedic Line Sandalwood & Turmeric Moisturizer after using this scrub.

PROS and CONS are same as the Vedic Line Papaya Face Pack (Highly recommend to read it) except the walnut shell ingredient in this scrub. It scrubs my skin well and removes dead cells if scrubbed gently however I request sensitive skins to scrub very very gently, as that of baby's skin because the shells are little over powering. 

My Recommendation: Surely give a try, this is such a natural and effective scrub which comes in a affordable price.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5 

Will I repurchase?: Sure. I am recommending this Vedic Line Scrub to my friends too.

Lotus Herbals Natural Blend Swift Makeup Review

I am reviewing now, a 4 in 1 makeup product from Lotus herbals which claims to act as a Foundation, Concealer, Matt powder finish but yet moisturizing and has UV protection. Isn't that interesting? I got this product as one of the part of the Lotus Herbals Gorgeous Natural Diva kit and using it now and then when I step out. A great plus of this product is that is a herbal one. I always prefer naturally made products for my skin than chemicals and hence this one made me say yeah. I have already reviewed the Pure Color Lipstick from this kit. It is a lovely red rose shade for daily wear, suits most of the Indian skin tones. My first impression with this swift makeup stick was quite good as it is attractive with a 4 in 1 claim and comes in a cute handy pack. Now let us move on to my detailed review and swatches.

The Packaging

The natural blend swift makeup SPF 15 comes in a red with golden coloured twist type stick like lipsticks come. This makes every application easier and quicker. The pack is sturdy and no chance for any damage while travel, so travel friendly too. The stick is very handy, colourful and overall, nice packaging. But I felt the cap and the stick can be more cuter and firmer (he he greedy me)

Colour, Texture and Fragrance

This product comes in 3 different shades and thus it can be easier to choose one of your skin type. It glides onto the skin so smoothly without any hardness and blends quickly. The fragrance is similar to that of compacts, sure it is not overpowering. No bad I find in it. Sorry

How it Works

I use my fingers to blend this onto my skin as brush gives a streaky look, however you can use makeup sponges to blend it evenly. This doesn't give a high matte effect as per the claim but it gives a nice glow and dewy effect to my facial skin. The coverage of this makeup stick can be taken as low-medium. It helps to hide minor imperfections and light dark circles but big spots and other scars cannot be completely hidden. It stays for up to 7 hours and fades eventually without any artificial look.  I would say this a best makeup stick for everyday formal or casual wear as this gives no heavy makeup look. It's light, gentle, side effect free and gives a nice glow. However, oily girls will need a compact to get matte effect as this may make you feel little oily. This is a great product for dry skinned beauties to carry on their handbag everyday. Overall, a good product again from Lotus Herbals.

1. 3 shades available, you can choose the best one for your skin type.
2. Blends easily onto the skin without any streaky or cakey effect.
3. Sturdy, compact and travel friendly packaging. Can easily carry around.
4. Hides imperfections and dark circles around eyes up to an extent.
5. SPF it has. No worry about harmful sun rays however using along with a sunscreen in hard summers in advisable.
6. Great staying power of 7 hours.
7. You get a large amount of product for this cost, which is worthy too. So, it is affordable.
8. Gives a nice glow with every application. No whitish caste or oiliness.
9. This would be a love for dry skinned beauties in all the seasons, however in winters you may need a moisturizer.

CONS

1. Doesn't hide big spots and scars but this cannot be taken as a con for the price and worth.
2. No ingredient list mentioned.
3. Not sure about how it suits extremely oily skinned girls in summers. Winter is okay-okay.

My Recommendation: Go for it! A nice buy. A single stick will last for months.

Heya girls and girls! Good Morning. Now I will be reviewing a Sandalwood and Turmeric moisturizer from Vedic Line brand. First, let us know more about Vedic Line as this is my first product from them. As per their site, they say "Vedic Line provides innovative & effective daily care products for Face, Hair & Body. Vedic Line has optimum combination of Ayurvedic wisdom & modern scientific research. It uses most advanced active & natural ingredients for the best yet safest results. One can enjoy visibly healthier skin & hair initially & significant improvement overtime."  So being natural is always better, this moisturizer impressed me in first sight. I am using it for past 10 days and here comes my review.

The Packaging

The 200ml pack comes in pump packaging (The one I got) and the 100ml one in flip type cap. It looks so lovely and cute, every squeeze is in control too. It is a transparent plastic bottle, very sturdy and thus it will be easy to find out how much product is left inside. Being hygienic and also travel friendly, I don't think it will create any mess. Perfect Packaging!

Colour, Consistency & Texture

I fell in love with the colour to be frank. It looks like a smooth butterscotch ice cream filled in the bottle. The moisturizer is in milky pale yellow colour and the texture is very smooth. The moisturizer is not thick or powdery, it has the ice cream consistency, neither thick nor too runny. Perfect for a light moisturizer. I can feel the turmeric and sandalwood smell in it and so the fragrance part is quite good too. Completely bearable for even sensitive noses, moreover it's very fresh and lovely.

How it works on Me

This sandalwood and turmeric moisturizer is for normal to dry & mature skin, though I tried it as the winter chillness doesn't completely get vanished off. This moisturizing cream should be used very little on normal and oily skin types, or else you will feel greasy. Dry skins will love this to core, it's a skin food for you in summers, winters and whatever the season is. This moisturizer spreads over my facial skin very smoothly and quickly, I needed just a single drop for my whole face. My skin was moisturized and fresh throughout the day, however oily skins may feel it a bit greasy. My mom tried this product and said it made her fine lines vanish a little. So overall, its a good product for normal to dry and mature skins as per the claim. I can't reduce ratings for the greasy feel as they doesn't claim for "Oily skins". but girls! Cheer up. 1. Yummy butterscotch colour and smooth texture. The texture is perfect for a moisturizer.
2. A good sandalwood + turmeric fragrance which I could really feel.
3. Very affordable as you get a huge quantity for 220 bucks. You can get it more cheaper from leading online shopping sites. A single bottle will last for ages. A great buy!
4. Hygienic and travel friendly pump bottle packaging.
5. Doesn't show any side effects on my skin.
6. Made my skin tight and soft with regular usage. 
7. Reduces fine lines up to an extent has the ingredients have anti-aging properties.
8. Sandalwood and Turmeric are the main ingredients. What natural you want more than these?!
9. Great shelf life of 3 years.
10. This is really a boon for dry and mature skins in all the seasons.
11. Fresh and lovely fragrance.

CONS

1. Availability is the only problem though you can easily get it from leading online shopping sites in great discounts.

My Recommendation: Dry skins would love it and stick to it! Perfect for normal skins in winter. And oily people, not for you. Try the other variants from this range.

Previously I previewed the Lotus Herbals Gorgeous Diva kit here and today we are going to see a review about the Lotus Herbals Pure Colour Moisturizing Lip stick in Red Rose shade which was one among the product in the diva kit I received :) I received a colourDEW nail enamel and a natural blend swift makeup tube too along with this lipstick, so totally three were in the kit.  The lipstick comes in a smooth edged cute and feminine rectangular tube. The tube looks very classy with the golden shade and sturdy enough to travel safely. The lipstick should be taken out with a screm type bottom which also seemed good enough and hygenic for me. Nothing to say bad about the packaging of this lipstick.

 It has a lovely shade which seemed like a mixture of plum, pink and slight brownish too. The shade would suit most of the Indian skin complexions except the very darker ones. If slightly applied, that is not going to be a problem for dark skinned beauties too. The texture is so smooth, soft and easily spreadable and this lipstick smells sweet. Not too much sweet or fruity like the flavored ones, still it has a decent smell.

How it looks and works on Me 

Lotus Pure Colour Moisturizing Lipstick - RED ROSE (On my lips)

The pure colour lipstick spreads so smoothly over the lips and gives a slight glossy finish. Even if you have dry lips, this will spread on yours without any hardness. I must say that the staying power of this pure colour lipstick is really great! It stays upto 3 hours and eventually fades without settling into lines or looking patchy. Even after it fades off, it leaves behind a cute pinkish stain which stayed for hours. The most lovable thing of this lipstick is the staying power, the second place goes to the shade. In dry winters, you may need a lip balm under this lipstick but in summers, I doubt it may bleed a little if you use a lip balm under it. So, overall, I am in love with this red rose shade of pure colour range from the Lotus herbals and I planned to try the other shades as well.

1. Very cute and lovable shade which suits most of the Indian skin complexions.
2. Spreads incredibly smooth even on dry lips. Gives a slight glossy finish.
3. Doesn't dry out lips anytime, However extremely dry lips may need a lip balm.
4. Good amount for the cost, lasts really long.
5. Sturdy, classy and travel friendly packaging.
6. Contains natural ingredients like jojoba oil which really does wonders on your lips.
7. Perfect shade for everyday usage, suits well with most of the costumes.
8. A very wide variety of shades available in this pure colour range. 
9. Very gentle on lips, I didn't experience any side effects.
10. Staying powder is really great! I highly recommend this one for it's staying power first.
11. Doesn't settle into fine lines or uneven patches.
12. 2 swipes are enough for a opaque coverage. Hides imperfections and uneven colours decently.
13. The fragrance is sweet and not that overpowering. 

CONS

1. In summers, if used with a lip balm, it slightly bleeds.
2. The shade doesn't suit very dark complexions. This can't be taken as a con, you can check out for other shades from this range.

No other con! I love this lipstick and the whole pure colour range from Lotus Herbals very much.

My Recommendation: Go for it! Perfect for everyday use, doesn't make lips dry or patchy. A great shaded lipstick from the Lotus Herbals pure colour range. I highly recommend it.
