My Experience with Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick range is one of the very famous range. Packed in a standard twist plastic case, the case is all black with just the color indication on top of the cap. The cap has cross wires like mark which makes it very attractive.

Peach is one shade that is a perfect peach. No mixture of other colors is found in this shade. A very good color that all skin tone ladies can flaunt easily. Lipstick is very smooth and moisturizing. Since it is very creamy, it does not stay on for long. It puts up for a maximum of two hours. In spite of this low staying power, I am liking this range of lipstick.

Hello buddies! I am reviewing a lipstick from Deborah Milano called the Rossetto Atomic Red lipstick today. I got this lipstick a week ago and using it everyday to observe its goods and bads. My View about this Lipstick

The lipstick comes in a very classy black metalic case which is firm and travel friendly. The colour is somewhat pink mixed with peach, has a sheen but it faces quickly giving a super matte effect. The fragrance is not at all over powering, it is mild and even sensitive noses will okay for it. The first time I used this lipstick, I got really impressed about how it spreads. It spreads smooth ans silky like a butter on my lips without any hardness. Soon after application, it covers imperfections greatly and goes opaque as it is highly pigmented. Staying power of this lipstick is also in a safer side. It stays for about 4 hours and fades eventually after that leaving a lovely pink stain. I just expected a little more staying power but this is perfectly okay because the texture is so creamy and smooth. There are many shades available in this range for you to choose one for your skin type. This is one of the best lipstick for dry lips and I recommend it highly to everyone who want a highly pigmented, long staying and cutely packed lipstick.

• Creamy and smooth consistency which is great for dry lips.
• Shows a sheen at first but it disappears and give a perfect matte effect.
• Many number of shades available. 
• Staying power is pretty good. It leaves a lovely pink stain behind.
• The case of the lipstick looks really very classy. No one can say no for this.
• Fragrance is mild and bearable.
• Sturdy packaging and hence easy to carry around.
• Highly pigmented. It covers the imperfections and uneven tones.
• Goes opaque with single swipe. The lipstick is shiny too.
• Smooth and silky finish as per the claim.

CONS

I just expected a little more staying power (Greedy me ) :P

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

My Recommendation: If you are looking out for a highly pigmented, creamy but yet matte lipstick go for it. You will surely love this lipstick for it's shade too. The would shade perfectly suits all skin types I guess. A great buy for dry lips.

Will I repurchase?: Yes! But other shades from this range. A single lipstick will last longer.

Hiya girls! Previously I reviewed the Glam On Eyeshadow duo from the New Faces Silk Luxury Makeup Range and now comes the lipstick review. I have a huge craze about lipsticks, that too the ones with more coverage and mild shade :P I don't prefer bright reds or pinks much as I am dusky. I love all plum, peach and nude shades. Luckily, I got this "Silken Peach" shade lipstick in my faces makeup kit. So, I was super excited to use this and using it for past few days. There are many more shades in this range such as barely there, Candy pink, Crimson, Wine, Red Coral etc.

The Packaging

As cute as usual. Faces silk range makeup cosmetics are really cutely and compactly packed. The lipstick comes in a black ,glossy, cylindrical shaped pack which is sturdy and perfect for traveling. Black is my favorite so it impressed me lot! No bad I could find.

Faces Glam On Lipstick in Silken Peach Shade Review

Colour, Texture and Fragrance

The whole range of these lipsticks is entirely different. This Silken Peach one I got looks deep peach mixed with slight pink in colour, with tiny peach glitters in it. I can hardly see the glitters though. It has a very smooth texture and a lovely vanilla + chocolate fragrance which is so sweet and romantic!

How it works on Me

Sorry, I am not showing the swatch on my lips due to my laziness as usual :D but I do have a lot to say about this peach lipstick. It glides onto my lips so smoothly without any hardness and gives a opaque effect with just 2 swipes. The lipstick is highly pigmented and super peachy in colour. A great boon to dusky and dark beauties yippee! The fragrance is so yummy and stays for a hour or so, after that no fragrance but the colour stays for decently time of 5 to 6 hours even with mild food intake. If used with a primer, you can expect it all day long! It gives a semi glossy finish which is also satisfying but the only thing I wanted is some moisturizing power because it doesn't moisturize at all, it doesn't dry out as well. But dry lips will need a lip balm before applying it. Overall, a nice peachy shade with a lovely choco vanilla fragrance and great staying power. Love it!

2. Spreads on my lips like silk. No hardness in applying.
3. Gives a fuller lip effect, the shade goes opaque with just 1 or 2 swipes.
4. Great staying power.
5. The range has so many different shades to try.
6. A single pack lasts longer so the  price can't be consired as a con.
7. Sturdy packaging, hence travel friendly.
8. Super duper Choco Vanilla fragrance. No one can hate it. 
9. Highly pigmented, gives a nice coverage.
10. Dusky skins will love it!

CONS

1. Need some moisturizing power. This lipstick might be drying for extremely dry lips.

Recommendation: Surely a beautiful peach shade. I highly recommend. Dry lips will need a lip balm though.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5 

Will I repurchase?: Sure! The peach shade suits my dusky skin well.
