Friends.. I am sure at some point of life you have also faced the type of confusion I faced two days ago. Two days ago I got a call from my aunt that she is organizing a puja in her home on Thursday and the dress code is anything in pink color. I was happy for get-together but to follow the dress code was quite difficult on such a short notice :D But I managed. I had a pink dress which I converted into  an ethnic wear with my creative skills. So today  I am going to tell you how you can easily make your one-piece dress into a nice pair of Kurtis-churidar.

Follow these Simple Steps and Get Ready for any Family Function

STEP 1:

Take out dress from cupboard which you want to change into a kurti.

STEP 2:

Go to market and buy a small cloth of the same color as your dress or of white color.

STEP 3:

Now if you have purchased the same color cloth then its well and good but because of any reason you are unable to get that particular color,and you have bought white color then you can get that cloth dyed of the same color of your dress,(for eg: I asked the person to dye it with pink color).

STEP 4:

After getting the dye work done,go to any boutique or tailor you know. Ask him/her to cut sleeves from that cloth and attach those sleeves to your dress.

STEP 5:

Now your dress ohhh... sorry your kurti is ready  and you can wear it whenever you have to attend any puja or any family occasion where you have to wear only traditional clothes. To complete the look you can select any color of leggings available in your wardrobe (for e.g.,with this pink kurti I did choose black legging,navy blue will also make a nice combination). I really loved experimenting with my dress. I hope you will also like to try this type of dress designing and use your creativity.

Happy Birthday to You My Siri Sis!

Hiya girls :) This is going to be one of the most important and most memorable post for me in our blog. It's all about my sister-come-friend, Siri. If you're into regular beauty blogging, no way you want me to intro her. Yes! She is a beauty blogger too, at My Likes and Thoughts [She had stopped blogging now :( and I worry for that a lot, even scolded her many times to get back into blogging again] I haven't made any wish post, or even a new year wish post here on our blog, but this day is so special and I simply can't help me typing the post :) She is so special to me and one of my best best best friends in blogging, of course I can say she is the first and best one than others. And no! We have neither met nor talked in phone, me or her haven't heard our voices each other, just through gmail our chat continues.

24:12:2011 is the first day we started chatting :) At the first day itself, I started calling her sis and we were chatting for about 40 minutes. Then we wished each other Happy Christmas and finished our chat.

You wont' beleive, we started chatting for hours from the next day. Even though not daily, we still use to chat often and we talk about our family, friends and blogging etc. She is the one who thought me a lot in blogging. To be frank I didn't even know how to review lipsticks when I started blogging. She is the one who thought me and she is too kind to me from the day of our friendship. I even said my mom about her many times and no words to say... she's just a sweetest person and soft of course :P [Yes, I have never seen her angry] And the surprise thing is that, she's going to be a MOM! :D I am happily waiting to see the cutie.

Siri Sis, Happy Happy birthday to you :) 

 I thought to make a call  to you at sharp 12 but got a little hesitated that we have never spoke in phone :P I will never forget you in my life! You're one of the kindest persons I have ever met.. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you and may all your wishes come true this upcoming year!! :D

Ready for Shopping Makeup Tutorial & FOTD

Hey girls! Good Morning!
I have become too lazy nowadays to post continuously on our blog; forgive me please :P Today, I wake up at 8.30 am [I didn't wake up myself, got a call from my aunt] She said that she wants to go for shopping with me today! I had a quick bath and made my makeup very quick. This makeup look is simple and can be done while going for shopping, friends house or some other nearby places. Enjoy the look and sorry for the bad clarity pics! I am lazy to charge my canon :P

Steps... Steps.. 

 

• Cleanse and moisturize your face. You can put anything of your wish like foundation, concealer etc but I prefer just a compact if its nearby outing [As all you already know I am lazy]. So here, after cleansing my face, I moisturized my facial skin with Lakme Intense Whitening Day Creme and then topped it with Lakme Rose Powder in Warm Pink Shade [Yes! My all time favorite]

• Blush? That's something I am not that expert in and also, as already said the 'lazy' thing keeps it at bay. Hence, I skipped the blush :D :D Sorry! If you like blushing, add some mild pinks or nudes.

• For my lips, I used Faces Canada silk range lip gloss. That's well pigmented and hence I didn't need any lipstick. 

•  I didn't prime my eyelids at all here [Let's make it quick and simple] I used a light pink eyeshadow near my inner corners and a moderate shimmery pink on center of the eyelids and outer corner. Blended both and that's it! I lined my eyes with a black eyeliner and applied kohl on waterline. Just for extra fun, I slightly applied Deborah Milano Metallic Eyeliner[Purple Shade] over my black liner :P Can you able to see it?

• What else? Ah I left something! I altered my eyebrows with a pencil and wore my earrings. That's it :) The simple shopping makeup look is all done. [Oops I forgot to comb my hair properly, forgive me]
