EOTD & Makeup Break-up: Pink and Taupe

It's been a while I did any EOTDs for the blog... And I promise this time it wasn't laziness ;) The thing is as Winters start setting in and the weather becomes dry, I start getting dry patches over my lids and below my chin :( And though I do use an ointment for it, it does take time for them to heal completely... So last night while washing my face after the gym, when I noticed that the dry patches had started to heal, I for my brushes and my MAC and Inglot palettes out and did an EOTD... It felt so good :)

5. Colorbar Precision Waterproof Liquid Liner - Upper Lashline (Winged)
6. MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara

Entry 3 For VanityNo apologies' Eye Makeup Contest

They say you can take an Indian out of India but cannot take India out of an India... I feel the same way about smokey eyes... Weird analogy I know but I guess it takes the point across ;) With a plethora of colorful eye makeup that I have been doing for the L'Oreal collaborates with beauty bloggers contests I had been itching to do my most beloved smokey eyes and well this a result of that :) Of course I have used my Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette here as well... And I can tell you that fasten your seat belts for some more :)

LOTD: Pink Smokey Eyes

I believe there is a fix for everything... Be it a fight with your bestie, an argument with your guy, negative appraisal at work or something mundane like not getting sleep at night... Of course everyone has their own fix, own solution... Mine is make-up :) Buying makeup, doing makeup and even talking makeup :P I wasn't getting sleep last night... Excitement for the weekend... for the new salary... you name it and that could be the reason for my alleged insomnia, so got out of bed and create this look at 2:45am... It started with a pale pink eye shadow from the sleek palette and culminated into my favorite smokey eye look! Haha... How typical :P

LOTD: Orient Inspired

 I love oriental or rather Asian features and I myself have been blessed with semi-asian features (thanks to my dad) and semi-non-asian features (thanks to my mom)... So tonight I tried this Oriental look and I guess I did succeed to some extent... LOL...
So here goes...

I did a pink smokey look for my eyes with a dab of pink blush to highlight my cheekbones :)
