Hello beautiful :)Yes you! Here I give you not the review of the best product, but the best review of the product under scanner. Today I am going to review the Banjara's Herbals Saffron Cleansing Milk. Yep! It is such a pretty tempting name and now it’s time to dig in to find what actually is, wrapped beneath that label.
Product Description:
- Improves skin surface condition
- For all types of skin
- Rich creamy and fragrant
- Removes impurities of facial skin
- Help free clogged pores
- Protects face against problems caused by pollution
Price and Quantity: Rs.120 for 100ml
Key Ingredients:
- Saffron
- Turmeric extracts
- Red sandalwood oil.
How do I Use it?:
Looks like lots of natural stuff packed in, yet I haven't revealed the real secret. So did I tell you how I used it? I mean how you should use it. Here we go.
Moisten your face with Luke warm water and very gently apply our cleansing milk over your face with feeble circular motions. Later remove it with a dry, soft and clean cotton ball. Once you are done you will notice that the milk is actually creamy than jelly or thick.
My Experience with Banjara's Saffron Cleansing Milk:
Packaging: Good packaging with flip-flop cap and easy to use. A coin size amount of the product is enough for entire face. This cleansing milk weighs light and this the packaging is travel friendly too.
Colour, Consistency and Fragrance: This cleansing milk is mild orange colored with a creamy texture and not very thick or runny in consistency. It smells like kesar but smell could be a big turnoff, atleast it was for me!
How it works: I got combination to normal skin type and clear skin *touchwood*. I bought Banjaras Saffron Cleansing milk in a supermarket near to my home. Actually, they got wide range of products when it comes to cleanser. List goes like Olive cleansing milk, Papaya cleansing milk, Aloevera cleansing milk etc. I am not a big fan of Banjara's products because scrubs which I bought last month doesn’t work out well on my skin. Though, I got a second thought of trying their cleansing milk. Saffron is one of the most effective skin lightning agents and it also has high anti-oxidant abilities. The main oxidants in saffron are “Crocetin, Iyopene, and Zeaxanthin". Keeping these key points in mind I bought banjaras saffron cleansing milk.
I use this cleansing milk every night before my night cream. After cleansing with this lotion and some cotton, my face feels oily and dull. I hope it will suitdry skinned beauties well as it prevents skin from excess dryness. When I used this cleansing milk over make-up, it failed to clean all the stubborn, water proof makeup from my face. It could remove make-up to an extent only but not the entire make-up. I struggled to remove my Himalaya Herbals Kajal but it stings eyes too badly. :(
Here in the images below you can see how Banjaras Cleansing Milk works on my eye liner pencil (from left), eye liner, kajal and dazzler lip gloss.
So, I cannot say it is a wonder product but definitely a decent product for the price.
Pros of Banjara's Saffron Cleansing Milk

Cons of Banjara's Saffron Cleansing Milk
- Unpleasant smell (may vary from person to person)

- After usage, my normal-combo face feels oily so, oily skinned might find it more oily after cleansing.
- Doesn't remove make up fully
- Stings eyes.. Ouch!
Makeup and Beauty Home Rating: 3/5
Would I Repurchase Banjara's Saffron Cleansing Milk?:
Well not really, it does removes make up or cleanse face to an extent only. I got combinational to normal skin type and after the usage, this cleanser made my facial skin oily and greasy. I am now going back to my Lakme Fundamentals Deep Pore Cleanser :)
