Tutorial: Cover Inspired Bold Winged Eye MakeUp

Hello everyone :) I feel all bright and chirpy today cause I have had a super productive morning and well nothing cheers me up more than ticking off items off my "To Do List" :) Raise hands if you feel the same :) And one such item on my to-do list was to do a tutorial for a look I had done a long time ago here and which many of you and specially Roshini has been waiting for :)

Ok, if you are one of those who don't check embedded links like me, then to remind you all, this was the look I had done inspired by Harper's Bazaar's Anniversary Issue where they had Vidya Balan look smoking hot in straight bangs and sultry eye makeup :) The following was my version and this is the tutorial for it! (Yes Finally!) :D

Products Used:
1. Maybelline Gel Liner
2. NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skintone
3. MAC Zoom Fast Lash Mascara
4. Black Eye Shadow
5. Flat Smudger Brush (Colorbar Brush No 122)

Procedure:
1. Apply eye shadow base generously on your eye lids as well as under your eyes.

2. Apply Black gel liner/kajal in your waterline and tightline generously. Do not worry about keeping the application neat.

3. Apply the same black gel liner/kajal around your eyes i.e. on your upper and lower lashline "thickly".

4. Using the flat smudger brush and taking some black eye shadow with it, apply it around your eyes on the liner/kajal that you previously applied. This is done for two reasons... One cause it seals the kajal from smudging and two cause it gives a smudged look :)

5. Next taking your liner brush/kajal, extend the liner on your lower lashline upwards in a slant. This will give the boundary and inclination to your wing. Make it as long as you like it :)

6. Next, join the liner applied on your upper lashline to the tip of the line you created in step 5. Re-read this line aloud so as to understand it properly.

7. Next, taking Black eye shadow with the flat smudger brush, pat on the shadow over the wing that you just created.

8. Finish off the look with a generous coat of mascara and you are ready to smoulder woman! :D

P.S. Please note that this isn't a tutorial of a "wearable" winged liner look. I will be doing a tutorial on that shortly :) So stay tuned!
