As a new year is normally the hint for change, I've given the blog a bit of a new look. I'm still not sure about the text colours used but the rest I'm pretty happy with! I just wanted to explain why I picked these particular photos in the header. As you all know I'm adamant about the fact that I want my blog to inspire people, so I've chosen to use images of things that personally inspire me. A lot of things inspire me but I think these represent the things that inspire me most or that inspire me on a daily basis - writing, reading, memories/memorabilia and music.
I guess you can argue the fact that I'm contradicting myself in that I always encourage people to live life to the full but I take most of my inspiration from things that are forms of escapism - aka things that temporarily get me thinking about a life, story or something that is not my own - but there we go!
