Top Five Home Remedies for Fast Hair Growth

Top Five Home Remedies for Fast Hair Growth (My Mom's Own Hair Secrets)

Hello Everyone!
Today, I have come up with a hair care post for all of you who are longing to grow your hair long and strong. I had a knee length hair when I was 12 but eventually, I lost interest in maintaining my long hair and had cuts many times. My long hair at childhood not only gifted me lots of compliments from neighbors, friends and family but it also had made me get punishments in my school for being late everyday :P On my fourteens and fifteens I hardly bothered about my hair.
Even last year, I had not wanted a long hair at all. I maintained that waist length hair (It is not considered long in my family :( sob sob!) till last year and now finally, I am 17 and a huge love on LONG HAIR has been developed inside my heart! I have no clue why I am loving to have a long hair. But I am sure I dream about long hair many times a day. I have even worried that why I had cut my hair so many times in these hairs :( and if encase I hadn't done that, I would have been blessed with Rapunzel hair now. Alright! Past is past; so hereafter, I am not getting a hair cut at all, at least for the next four eyes. (Don't include the split ends trims once in 12 weeks!) I am going to jump into the hair growth challenge and maintain my hair like anything to achieve that knee long hair back (Greedy me!). I am not sure whether I will win the challenge or not but I am sure I will take necessary steps for that. Okay without further blabbering, let us move on to the post :P I don't wanna bore you all with my hair story.

My Mommy's Long Hair!

This is my mom's hair :D She is 55 now! and never died her hair or went to salon even once in these 55 years. She doesn't know what a hair mask or what a hair conditioner is! She swears by plain coconut oil and Shikakai. She had even longer and thicker hair before long years and this post is ofcourse compiled with her secrets!. :)

My Mom's Beautiful Hair! :)

Now, let me share 5 amazing tips & remedies to grow your hair longer in a shorter time. No! We cannot fasten the hair growth but we can prevent split ends, breakage, hair fall and that's all. Healthy hair grows longer without any obstacles. Don't you agree?

'Your hair grows anytime at the same rate of speed but the trick is how you care for it and prevent it'  This is my mom's hair growth theory :D

1.Maintain Your Hair Clean

Maintaining your hair clean everyday is very essential when it comes to faster hair growth. Unclean hair and scalp leads to allergies, dandruff and such kinda hair problems thus resulting in heavy hair loss. So even though when you hair grows at a good speed, you are losing lots of hair strands at a better speed. Can you get what I am saying?

  • Home Remedy for Faster Hair Growth 1: Shikakai mixed with curd acts as a great natural hair cleanser to clean hair and scalp. This shikakai home remedy for hair cleansing better than many other shampoos available in today's market loaded with SLS and parabens.

2. Moisturize Scalp and Hair Strands

My mom has a hip length hair now at the age of 55 and guess what? She does not have a single gray hair! I have always been jealous of my mom's hair beauty and her secret is 'Moisturizing hair' regularly. Yes! She oils her hair thrice every week to prevent scalp dryness and split ends. I personally don't like that oily feel on my scalp and hence I skip oiling at day time and go for a overnight oiling routine. Try using oils like coconut oil, olive oil and castor oil on your hair regularly; and you will definitely see the difference in weeks.

  • Home Remedy for Faster Hair Growth 2:  Mix coconut oil and olive oil together (Equal parts) Take a teaspoon of dried curry leaves powder and dried fenugreek powder each and put them into the oil mixture. Shake well and store it in dry place for one week. Now filter this oil and use it as your regular hair oil! See the magic withing 3 months of usage. My mom swears by this hair oil recipe for faster hair growth!

3. Wear Loose Braids

Tight braids and pony tails may damage your hair in long run. Avoid wearing tight hair bands and clips on your hair to prevent unwanted hair breakage and weakening of hair. Once a beautician told me, wearing tight pony tails often may result in front balding of hair :O Be aware girls! And wearing loose braids helps in better air circulation on your scalp, thus resulting in less sweat - less allergies and less hair fall. Where there is less hair fall, it is equal to fast hair growth automatically :) If you want long and strong hair, first know to save your hair! That is the best trick ever.

  • Home Remedy for Faster Hair Growth 3: Fill up a spray bottle with 100 ml of rose water and pour in two teaspoons of almond oil. Shake well and refrigerate. Use this hair spray after you rinse your hair to make your hair smooth, manageable and frizz free instantly. Using this hair spray help you make braids easily without any tangles! This also improves the texture and health of your hair, resulting in longer and stronger hair faster without any dry hair/combing breakage.

4. Get Good Sleep & Water

This might be one of the most heard tips, but still it is one of the best tips too. Get a proper good night sleep of 8 hours and drink atleast 10 glasses of water a day. This would regularize your metabolic activities and prevents hair loss due to stress and dehydration. Going to hair salons, using masks and other topical treatments alone won't work; if you want longer hair, you want to maintain your health  :) So don't forget this sleep and water trick anytime. Drinking tender coconut every morning helps too. This controls hair fall due to heat and provides mineral salts for your hair health.

  • Home Remedy for Faster Hair Growth 4: Excessive body heat causes bad damage to the hair though we follow all the other hair care regimes the right way. To control this, crush some fresh tulsi leaves and put them into your drinking water everyday. Tulsi cools down the body, relieves stress and vanishes hair fall caused due to body heat. Thus your hair grows long without any over heat obstacle!

5. Hair Growth Supplements

Are you losing much hair everyday? Is your hair not growing long anymore? You might be suffering from some nutrition deficiency. Consult your physician and discuss with him/her about the intake of hair care supplements. They might prescribe you biotin, iron or zinc etc depending on your deficiency problem. I am taking 5mg biotin everyday at present and it is giving me good results. It has reduced my hair fall to 90% and my hair is getting down to my waist :) Keep in mind; do NOT take any supplement without consulting your doctor.

  • Home Remedy for Faster Hair Growth 5: My mom tells me often that eating egg whites, whole nuts, spinach and cheese everyday increases the hair growth speed :) Soya bean helps too! Why don't you try them?

My Bed Time Beauty Routine to Wake Up Beautiful!

My Bed Time Beauty Routine - Steps and Tips

Hey Everyone!
What do you do before you go to bed at night? Watch television or go for a walk.. or munch something? Alright! what do you do to your skin and hair to wake up beautiful the next morning? Have your ever wondered about your bed-time beauty care? Fine, cool. I am not getting sleep now so came here to share my bed time beauty routine with you all. I have been waiting to make this post since long but missed it every time. Check below the steps of my beauty routine; these are what I do before I go to my soft bed every night :) This routine really helps me wake up fresh, energetic and ofcourse confident. I have been following this routine for more than 2 yrs now and my skin and hair have been improved a lot after that. No long steps; these are just the normal ones which we can follow at our home easily. Let us move on to the steps now?

Night Beauty Care, Bed Time Beauty Tips

Brush Teeth & Clean Mouth

Brushing my teeth is the first thing I do every morning after I wake up from sleep and also before going to bed every night. I just can't live without brushing my teeth at least twice a day. It is essential to keep our mouth clean in order to maintain good health and to avoid bad odour. So before going to bed at night, I brush my teeth with a mint toothpaste and goggle with a refreshing mouth wash following by the tongue cleaner usage. Get a baby tooth brush and keep it in your tooth brush stand. Once you are done with brushing your teeth, gently scrub your lips with the baby brush and wash away with cold water. This will make your lips baby soft!

Warm Water Bath

However tired you might be, just have a warm water bath with your favorite fruity smelling shower gel. This will lift up your mood and make you energetic in minutes leaving all the dullness and tiredness behind. I usually have my night bath around 10 pm in lukewarm water. If you are afraid of getting cold, make it a quick warm shower. Having a relaxing warm bath at night relieves stress and refreshes you for a better sleep. Do you have those 'slippery feel giving' shower gels and bars unused, those will take ages to get washed away from skin completely? They may raise your temper in busy mornings; hence spare them for night baths! I love having my night bath with strawberry, pomegranate or citrus shower gels depending on my mood.

Tidbits:
  • While having your bath, soak your feet in hot water (in bearable heat) for 5-10 minutes and scrub gently with a foot scrubber or a loofah pad. This will ensure the removal of dead skin cells and softens feet.I don't do it everyday due to laziness :P but at least twice a week is really good.
  • Use a good makeup removing cleanser to remove all the makeup, dust and pollution from your facial skin. Removing make up is a must before you go to bed every night.

    Moisturize Face and Body Skin

Okay we had a warm bath now to refresh the body, senses and to remove the impurities, sweat and dirt from the skin. What next? The warm water with cleanser would have taken most of the moisture from our skin. To combat moisture loss, I put on my body lotion and face moisturizer soon after I come out of my bathroom. Wipe your skin with a soft towel and apply the moisturizers evenly over your face and body skin. Never ever use creams those others simply recommend because it works on them; everyone's skin is different and you need the apt one for your skin. Heavy moisturizers are good for night usage as you need to keep your skin moisturized for next 8-12 hours (Do you sleep for twelve hours? :P I do many times!).

    Tidbits:
    • Before putting on your facial moisturizer, spray some rose water or a skin toner over your face to tighten pores and remove the leftover dirt from your skin.
    • If you find any particular moisturizer that suits your skin the best, but still you can't use that due to the 'No SPF' factor, spare it for night usage. I find few of my good working moisturizers turn dewy on my normal-oily skin after 2 hours of application and hence I don't dare to put them for day use; but you see, they fit perfectly as my night cream.
    • Do not forget to apply your foot cream while moisturizing your face and body.

Apply Lip Balm or Lip Butter

Our lips turn dry when we fail to moisturizer them. We are needing our lip balm many times in a day but many of us fail to think about the nights our lips face. We need to moisturize our lips heavily at nights, especially in winters if we want to wake up with soft lips instead of the dried and chapped ones. Soon after I moisturize my face, body and feet, the next thing that my hand searches for is a 'lip balm'. I apply a thick coat of my lip balm or lip butter every night to ensure my lips won't turn chapped. As it is night, try to skip the tinted ones and go for flavored ones to refresh your senses! How about a sweet vanilla or sheabutter one?

      Comb & Detangle Hair

This is one of the main steps of my bed time beauty (hair) care routine. I gently detangle my hair with a wide toothed comb and apply some oil on my scalp if in case I am planning to wash my hair the next day morning. It is highly risky to sleep with ponytails as they may result in thinning of hair or even alopecia in long run. So never ever sleep with tight braids or pony tails. Just detangle your hair and wear loose braids before you go to bed. If you havea  really short hair, then you can sleep with loose hair but in case if you have a lengthy hair, it is better to wear loose braids as the natural oils of your hair can cause pimples if comes to contact with the skin.

Pillow Cover & Blanket - Are they Clean?

Yes, I do check this every night. Most of the people, even if they follow a good skin care routine, experience pimples due to sleeping in pillows without making sure the cover is clean. They won't be having a clue why they are getting pimples whatever anti-acne cream they use. Hence, it is better to wash pillow covers twice every week; this avoids skin problems, acne breakouts and other skin allergies. I always make sure that both my pillow cover and bedsheet are clean before falling asleep! Do you have this habit? If not, cultivate it for your skin sake from today itself.

Relax Eyes with Cold Cotton Pads

Be it cucumber juice or rose water,  I always have any one of these chilled and ready in my refrigerator. Once I am done with all the other steps of my night time beauty routine, I dip two clean cotton pads into rose water or cucumber juice, squeeze them and put them over my eyelids. Wow! What a relaxing feel it is! This method treats my tired eyes which works on computer for long hours everyday. Why don't you try it too?

      Close Eyes and Sleep Well

Now I am done with everything! :D It's time to get deep into the good night sleep. Whatever problems, worries, tensions I have, I just throw them away, take a big breathe and sleep calmly. Once you are done with the above mentioned skincare/haircare steps, automatically you will be getting a happy refreshed sleep.

And in the morning..?? Someone is going to wake up with gorgeous skin and hair :) If followed every night, you can visibly see changes on your skin and hair appearance.

Yes! Butter works great as a heavy moisturizer. Before you go to the bed every night, wash your hands and feet with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Now take 5-6 vitamin E capsules and poke them to extract the thick vitamin E oil. Pour this oil into the already prepared oil mixture and shake well. Cure Under Eye Dark Circles in 30 Days

Hello beauties! Next to the skin lighting remedies, this is the one which is most asked for in our reader queries section. Many of you asked me for under eye dark circle removing home remedies and some other asked for under eye dark circle removal cream suggestions. My mailbox is flooded with this same type of query. I have luckily got dark circle free eyes (Can't judge about future! I am just 17 now) and hence I wasn't able suggest you home remedies for dark circles before. But just specially for you all, I made a visit to my beautician's house last week and discussed with her about the home remedies and other skincare ideas to control, prevent and cure dark circles fast other than the usage for dark circle removing creams. As one of our post named 'Fair Skin in 30 days' was made a huge hit by worldwide readers, I am here up with the next 30 days series. These remedies might work perfectly for you if you follow them in a right manner. Though genetic and health issues can also give you under eye dark circles and for that you MUST consult your physician rather than believing in cure from simple topical home remedies.

Three Must Follow Remedies to Cure Under Eye Dark Circles

      • Get 8 hours of good night sleep. Read the previous line carefully, you need 8 hours of good NIGHT sleep. Hence untimely sleeping  is not going to help you even if you sleep for 8 or more hours. Regularize your sleeping habits as the first step.

      • Wash your eyes thrice a day with fresh water. This trick helps like a miracle in curing your bulged, dark, ugly looking under eye circles fast. Just simply splash some water over your eyes gently and that's it. Once in the morning while bath, once in the evening after returning home from work and once before going to bed every night is a best routine.

      • Soon after returning home from college or workplace, get some cold water in a bowl. Dip two cotton pads in the cold water, squeeze a bit and place it over your closed eyelids. Relax for 10-15 minutes and then continue your other work. This should be followed everyday in order to calm down stressed eyes.

Five DIY Home Remedies to Cure Under Eye Dark Circles

      • This is a very common remedy but it really works if followed everyday without expecting overnight results. Squeeze juice from grated cucumber and apply it over your dark cirlces. Leave on for 10-20 minutes and and wash away. This can be followed daily for best results.

      • Potato juice acts a natural bleaching agent to lighten the dark skin around your eyes. Hence apply potato juice over your dark circles twice a week but not everyday. This would gradually remove the darkness and yes, you can see visible results in under eye dark circles reduction within one month if followed with patience.

      • Drop pure rose water on your eyes before going to bed at night. This would calm down eyes and reduce the heat to prevent and fade dark circles caused due to excess heat.

      • Banana peels can be cut into thin squares and stored in refrigerator to use as your anytime relaxing fruit eye pads. Just place the cold peel strips above your eyelids and voila! You're ready to enjoy the super calming sensation which not only feels good but also helps a lot with the healing of your under eye circles problem.

      • Last but not the least, this is the very important step that you should follow regularly to reduce dark circles in 30 days. Grind almonds to smooth powder and add milk to this powder to make a smooth eye mask. Apply this over your eyelids and below your eyes. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse. This should be followed at least once every week to ensure the fast removal of darkness around your eyes. My beautician highly recommend this DIY dark cirlce removing eye pack.

Ten Home Remedies for Winter Dry Skin

Guest Post by Radha of My Noble Secrets

Winter going to come and the main worry of all of us is DRY SKIN. Winter gives us no sweating but the dry cool wind becomes the enemy of our skin's moisture often. So, we have to take care of our skin more carefully in order to prevent skin dryness and tightness. First of all, we have to concentrate on our diet well. This kind of moisture balancing skin care diet should be started earlier to the winter to maintain young glowing winter skin. Make your diet rich in Omega-3-fatty acids and low fat milk with oats or cereals. This will make wonder changes on your skin. Reduce the intake of coffee and tea that makes skin more dry by reducing important vitamins and minerals from the body. Take Green Tea which has lot of Anti-oxidants that repairs and keeps the skin younger forever. Staying hydrated with drinking 2 to 3  liters water everyday will wash away toxins from your body. Vitamin A, C and E helps to lock moisture in your skin. Hence, try to include fruits and vegetables rich in these vitamins. Avoid oily and greasy foods that give you bad skin. Consumption of nuts such as almonds and peanuts provides you vitamins and good fat; thus helping to prevent skin's natural moisture in winters.

How to Make Exfoliating Body Scrub with Chickpeas? [Photo Tutorial]

          Hello sweet ladies!
Now we are going to check an amazing exfoliating body scrub made of chickpeas and few other kitchen available ingredients to give your skincare routine a twist. This natural exfoliating body scrub has numerous benefits such as tan removal, skin softening and deep pore cleansing. I swear by this body scrub and this one definitely wins most of the store bought body scrubs. Come let us check the recipe with a photo tutorial.

          Things you will need:
          • Dried Chickpeas, 2 tablespoons
          • Dried Mung beans, 1 tablespoon (Optional)
          • Sandalwood, 1 tablespoon
          • Rice Powder, 1 tablespoon
          • Milk, Required

          Preparation Method:

          1. Grind the chickpeas and mung beans together coarsely. Mung bean is nothing but the green gram (Pachai Payiru in tamil). Collect the powder in a small bowl. Add sandalwood powder and rice powder to this powered mixture and mixture everything together well with a spoon.

          2. Add required milk to the scrub powder that we prepared in the first step.

          3. Blend well and ensure that the scrub is in the right consistency. The scrub should be neither too thick nor too runny. That's it. Your own body scrub made of chickpeas is all ready to use now!

          Usage Directions:
After having a shower with your shower gel or after a bath, on your wet skin, apply this chickpea exfoliating body scrub. Apply the body scrub over entire body skin and start scriubbing gently with your fingers and palms. Do not use this exfoliating body scrub on your facial skin as this would be a little rough compared to the facial scrubs. However, if you wish grind the ingredients more finely and store it seperately to use as your facial scrub.
While scrubbing your body skin, concentrate more on the rougher parts such as knees and elbows. After 5-10 minutes of scrubbing, wash off the scrub from your body skin completely without leaving any residue. Use every weekend to maintain soft, glowing and tan free skin. This can also be used twice a week on your body.

          Ingredient Benefits:
          • Chickpeas : Removes dark patches and pigmentation from the skin.
          • Mung beans: Softens the skin and makes it wrinkle-free. Green gram powder (Mung beans powder) is a great alternative for soaps as well.
          • Sandalwood: Improves complexion, calms down skin and reduces excessive body heat
          • Rice Powder: Helps removing tan by performing the exfoliation part in an effective manner.
          • Milk: Softens skin and prevents it from drying due to exfoliation. If you have extra dry skin, pour in few drops of olive oil to this body scrub recipe.

How to Get Rid of Oily Skin on Face Naturally?

Just don't blame the summer alone; even this monsoon weather is giving us lots of trouble. I expected my skin to act normal after Mr.Summer took leave but it turned even more worse unexpectedly. I am enjoying monsoon with rains and spicy hot cuisines. I am loving the cool breeze but my skin? my T zone? It is getting more oilier than it was in summer. This irregular climate is giving my skin zits, breakouts and such due to excessive skin greasiness. So what to do naturally when your facial skin turns excessively oily and greasy? How to say goodbye to those pimple breakouts, zits and blackheads? We cannot always put on store bought products on our face isn't it? So sip a coffee and note down these natural oily skin curing ideas to prevent and control that oily sheen on your facial skin, especially on your T zone.

          Proper Face Washing Routine

Wash your face compulsorily for twice a day if you have oily facial skin. Use a good oil clearing face wash which is gentle, preferably herbal and clears out the excess oil from your skin. Remember, the face wash you are choosing shouldn't be over drying on your skin as it might end up in giving you premature wrinkles and stretchy skin. I highly recommend Himalaya Herbals Oil Control Lemon Face Wash for moderate-oily skin and Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Wash for extra oily skin. Not just these two times, wash your face 2-3 more times but this time only with WATER and not your face wash. So totally, you are going to wash your face twice with a good oil clearing face wash and 2-3 times with plain cold water. This is the first step which cures 90% of your oily facial skin problem.

          Scrub Twice A Week

Oily skin usually attracts more dust, dirt and other impurities from the environment. These impurities settle down and forms as a layer on the surface of your facial skin. To remove this dirt layer, one surely needs exfoliation. Oily skin types can exfoliate their facial skin twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells, dirt and other impurities. Go for a good branded oil clearing scrub or make your own at home. Simply grind 2 teaspoons of oats coarsely. Combine it with some fresh Aloe gel. Your 2 minute oily skin scrub is all ready to use!

          Oil Balancing Pack After Scrub

Soon after scrubbing your face, when your pores are open, you can layer your face with a calming face pack. On the other hand, this should be an oil balancing face pack too which would control excess sebum production. Use a good branded mud based face pack after scrubbing to tighten your skin and control excess oiliness. Alternatively you can use the mixture of besan and buttermilk as your natural oil balancing face pack.

          Toner & Moisturizer

After washing your face, don't skip toner anytime if you have oily skin. Tone your skin with a green tea or rose water toner and moisturizer your skin with a water-based moisturizer. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't moisture if you have oily skin. All skin types need moisturization; so go and pick a water-based, light moisturizer.

Note: Don't worry all the time for having extra oily skin. There is a sweet news for you oily skinned damsels. Oily skin ages slower when compared to the dry ones! So chill. Follow these above ideas, prevent excess oiliness and enjoy showing your beautiful oil-free face to the word.

So, which is your favorite natural tip to get rid of oily face? Share below!

6 Amazing Skincare Recipes with Coconut Milk

Coconut Milk has been used in several skincare products for ages because of its goodness on skin. We can include coconut milk in our homemade DIY skin treatments as well, to naturally cleanse, moisturize and beautify skin. It acts effectively in cleansing, moisturizing and repairing sun damaged skin. Check out these 6 simple coconut milk skincare recipes below and make use of them.

          Coconut Milk Moisturizer
Is your skin dry, tight or stretchy all the time, especially in winters? Mix equal amounts of fresh coconut milk and honey. Add two drops of almond oil to this mixture if your skin is extra dry. Smooth this over your face and let it sit there for 10-20 minutes. Later, wash off with clean cold water and pat dry. No more stretchy feeling and no more dry patches; All you will see now is your soft, moisturized skin.

          Coconut Milk Facial Cleanser
At times we run out of our cleansing milk and this is one recipe which can naturally cleanse and balance the moisture of your facial skin. Mix a teaspoon of creamy yogurt with few drops of concentrated coconut milk and spread this mixture evenly on your face. Leave on for 5 minutes and wipe off with a wet cloth of cotton. Splash cold water over face and wash off!

          Makeup Remover with Coconut Milk
It's not that a hard procedure! We all know that olive oil acts as a natural makeup remover and even removes stubborn eye makeup. Simple mix 1/2 parts of coconut milk with 1 part of olive oil and use it as your regular makeup remover. You will feel that your skin has become more clean and softer than before.

Coconut Milk Skin Brightening Face Pack
Add required coconut milk to a teaspoon of sandalwood powder. Put in few saffron strands and few drops of honey to this mixture and use this as your skin brightening face pack. This would do wonders on your skin by brightening it in a natural way!

Wrinkle Cure Cream with Coconut Milk
Soak 6-8 almonds in water overnight. Peel off their skins in morning and grind them too smooth paste. Extract oil from 2-3 vitamin E capsules. Add few drops of thick coconut milk and the extracted vitamin E oil to the almond paste and blend well. Your wrinkle cure cream is all ready to use now! This will not bring you dramatic results on your skin but with regular usage, it will definitely help tightening skin, thus reducing wrinkles and fine lines. After cleansing face every night, apply this cream evenly over your skin and go to sleep. Wash off face in the morning to see the soft skin magic.

          Coconut Milk Spray for Sunburns
Add 1/2 parts of rose water to one part of coconut milk and fill this up in a clean spray bottle. Refrigerate. Soon after returning home from outside, when your skin is burnt due to over sun exposure, spray this liquid over the affected parts and relax for half an hour. The coconut milk extracts and rose water will calm down and sooth the redness caused due to sun exposure. This spray will also remove tanning up to a great extent.

          Note:
Do NOT use packed or store bought coconut milk for any of these recipes above. They would be containing preservatives and such those can be allergic to your skin. Grate fresh coconuts, grind and squeeze them to extract that thick, natural coconut milk.

Almond & Sandalwood Face Pack for Brides

          Guest Post by Shilpa

Hi girls! This is Shilpa Kalluru from Kadapa; working and settled in Hyderabad now. I bumped into this blog when I was searching for some home remedies for my dark patches. I was surprised and happy to see the simple, affordable tips those were shared here. This is a very nice blog and thank you for all the effort.
Any beauty problem has a home remedy in it and thus I wanted to share a beauty tip with MABH friends that will help everyone get a porcelain clean skin. I have heard this over television in Band Baaja Bride by some famous beautician. And this is especially for brides who are looking for a clearer and beautiful skin for their wedding. Check out the quick and simple recipe below.

          Things you will need:
          • Almonds - 10 numbers (Small sized ones; these are rich in Vitamin E)
          • Sandal wood powder - 1 or 2 tbsps
          • Saffron - a pinch
          • Olive oil -  4-5 drops

          Preparation:
          • Grind everything together in mixture until smooth.
          • You can store this face pack in refrigerator by making it for a week.

          How to Apply:
          • Take required quantity of this mixture and add full fat milk to it to make a semi solid consistency. If you have extra oily skin type, you can use rose water instead of milk.
          • Cleanse your face with a mild cleanser or a cleansing milk and wipe off gently.
          • Apply this pack over your facial and neck skin evenly. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes.
          • After this dries out completely dab it with rose water. Scrub it in circular motion to get that exfoliating effect (This encourages the removal of impurities and dead skin cells).
          • Clean with lukewarm water and then splash cold water to close the skin pores.

Try this for a week and you will see beautiful, clear and supple skin on your face. Continue using this face pack regularly for maximum results. For brides, 3-4 times usage per week is recommended.

Hope you liked my first contribution for MABH.
