Belated Dussehra Wishes MABHians! + Saree OOTD

Hello lovely ladies!
Sorry for MIA this whole week :( I spent half of the time in my aunt's house celebrating Dussehra and for the last 2-3 days I am suffering from a bad pain in my right hand. A needle stroke my index finger and it is paining like a hell really. I am typing in a single hand now and this is the reason  why I wasn't able to be regular with the posts this week. Sorry, Sorry, Sorry! :(

So, Happy Belated Dussehra wishes to all MABH readers! :D Hope you enjoyed your holidays well and had lots of fun with your friends and family members in this celebration. Here is my Durga Pooja OOTD with an orange saree! :P Am I looking too lean in saree? Excuse my skinny physic. Check out the pictures below.

Ps: I wore this saree myself :P which took me nearly 2 hours! I made my makeup minimal with a slight amber eye shadow, a kajal, an eyeliner and a tinted lip balm, of course with some compact.

Did you wear Saree for this Dussehra? How did you celebrate the holidays?

LOTD, Outfit and my New Hobby...

Good Evening everyone... I am Suma Samyukta Sharma and I am a TBS addict. Yes ladies and gentlemen I have a new hobby and this time its got nothing to do with art or culture or tradition and stuff... Some might like to call me a hoarder but I prefer the term "collector" and yes I am today proudly declaring myself to be a TBS Collector! I know at least half of you reading my blog are secret TBS collectors too... So let us all join hands for this noble hobby of ours and be united in our mutual love and admiration for the awesome products that TBS keeps belting out :)

Ha ha drama queen that I am, I cannot help but be over enthused about my recent (mini) TBS haul... Here's a peek of the stuff that I got! :)

Yes yes yes, I got the new BB cream too :))

Pati has been working very hard lately and so we decided to go for a cup of midnight coffee last night to CCD (the only one that's open all night in Pune, if you are a pune-ite then you know what I am talking about) and this is what I wore and did makeup-wise :)

I know I know the pics are super crappy but hey Pati wasn't really relenting to clicking pics at midnight so I had to make do with these :P

Bow Detail Puff Sleeve Jeweled Skirt Dress & OOTD

Hello damsels!
How are you all doing? I am doing very fine and now excited to share my recent OOTD with you all. I purchased this beautiful puff sleeve bow detail dress from Oasap.com before a couple of weeks. I got this at discount for around $20 and totally loving it. Do check out my pictures and details of the dress below.

My View about this Dress:

This is black cotton dress with a bow detail at top with an attached jeweled skirt. The bow is pure white in colour whereas the dress is black and hence it is a cook black and white combo dress.
I loved this dress at-first-sight and liking it a lot for its look and softness. This dress is suitable for any season wear and fits comfortably. I usually wear it with a black or white leggings and this does give a very neat appearance. As per the name, it has puffy sleeves which looks really cute.Check out my pictures below; hope I am not scaring you anyone :P

The bow.. The bow... I love bows!!

 The Attached Jeweled Skirt

My sweet boy, Tommy got captured in this picture :) and Sorry for the mismatching maroon wedges, I wore it in a hurry. Black pumps would do good with outfit I guess. Hmm any idea?

For the first time on MABH, me and my mom :)

What To Wear: To Office When There Is No Dress Code...

After I have collated all your feedback, I will be starting some new sections on your recommendation... Let me start with Pranali's... She wants me to start with "What To Wear To Work" posts and well here is the first of the lot :)

My office has no dress code (Thank God!) but yeah that doesn't mean we go to office like we are on a vacation... Being casual and yet dressing up in a way that your work is taken seriously is very important. It is of utmost significance to strike a balance between the casualness of your attire and the formality of the work environment. Keeping all of this in mind, this is what I wore today...

Top: Promod
Jeans: Lee
Footwear: Catwalk

Makeup:
1. Colorbar I-Glide Pencil in Blackout
2. MAC Zoom Fast Lash Mascara
3. Colorbar Blush in Floral Fucsia
4. Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick in Bare

HairDo:
1. Flat-Ironed my hair to remove frizz and remove the obvious curl
2. Tied up my hair in a high pony-tail and a flat front
3. Wearing a thin white hairband just for some contrasting effect :)

 Accessories:
1. Pale Gold Star shaped Earrings: Vero Moda (Pieces)
2. I do not carry a handbag/purse cause my laptop bag holds everything for me :P

Hope you guys like the look :)

P.S. Yup the flats, the top and the earrings are what I bought from the sale too ;)

What To Wear: To A Euro2012 Match at a Sports Bar :)

Hello everyone :) You all know that I am not a cricket fan... Rather my love and loyalty lies towards football and with the Euro2012 going on, the pati and I have our lives revolving around football mostly :) And so it was very logical to have our pre-anniversary celebrations at a Sports Bar watching the historical England-France match :) Now the match turned out to be quite a dud with it ending as a draw but it was fun nonetheless especially after a couple of Tequila shots ;) Have I ever told you guys how much I abhor Vodka and worship Tequila? Nope I don't think so :P

So anyways, this is what I wore... I finally got to wear my Mango dress and it seemed quite apt too as I was rooting for France and Blue is France's color :D he he ha ha ;)

Dress: Mango
Peep Toes: Local Shoe Boutique

Make-up wise I did a crease cut look with a hint of blue in the crease and kept my lips nude since a sports bar isn't the place to wear a face of full makeup now is it? ;)

Eye-shadows: MAC Ricepaper, MAC Folie and L'Oreal Azure Blonde Blue Eye shadow
Lipstick: MAC Taupe
Liner: Maybelline Gel Liner
Mascara: MAC Zoom Lash Mascara
Blush: Colorbar Blush in Floral Fucsia

I loved the overall minimalistic look :) Pati said I look like a kid with very hot legs :P Then he drew a similarity between the lethal Japanese chick in school uniform in Kill Bill and moi ;) But then I don't believe him, I know he was just trying to earn some brownie points ;)

P.S. Stay tuned for Anniversary outfit and my cake pics ;)

What To Wear: To an IPL Match...

Yes I know you know that I went for the IPL match between Pune Warriors India and Royal Challengers Bangalore yesterday at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium :P Well to be honest I am not really an IPL fan, ok seriously I am not even a cricket fan. I know I know I am an Indian and cricket is suppossedly our "religion" but I am somehow more of a footbal fan... Sigghhhh it's my East Indian blood speaking again I guess :P

So anyways, even though I ain't much of a cricket fan I still went for the IPL match and well I must say the excitement at the stadium is sooo electrifying that you cannot help but be a part of it... Of course I have been to live matches before especially Indo-Pak ones and it's always the same excitement :) This time we got some really awesome seats, which was like the fourth row from the front, just behind the cheerleaders squad :D Hahahahaha, imagine the fun the "pati" and the guys had :P Ok, in all honesty the "phirangi" cheerleaders are really good looking :) Pretty and sweet :) and yup we girls got to have out eye candy as well... Virat Kohli is seriously HOT! A bit of a snob but I guess it goes with the image :P

Some pics I clicked for you guys :)

And here's the outfit I wore for the match... I went with a classic white with denim combo... A white top with pretty "hakoba" detailing in the front with pencil blue jeans and my at the moment favorite floral printed ballerinas :) And of course by Orange cross-bag from Accessorize :)

Makeup-wise: I went for a nudish look. I used MAC Honesty on my lids, Bronzer on my cheeks and Colorbar Star Metal Lipgloss in Astral :)

Hope you guys liked the look :)
