MAC Blogger's Event

On Thursday 30th September at 7:00pm MAC Cosmetics hosted their very first event exclusively for blogger's! I was so lucky to be invited as MAC is seriously one of my favourite brands (as you all know!). The event was held at the MAC store on Kensington Church Street in London. I hopped on the train once again and headed down to the launch of their new and exciting collection, Venomous Villains before it released in the stores.

We were escorted around the back of the store and through the entrance that lead downstairs. We were then seated in a 'studio' type area where we were given a makeup demonstration by one of the top MAC Pro Artists, Debbie, on the model Jess. The makeup artist applied the Cruella De Vil look to the model from the face chart booklet. It was gorgeous!!

Those images were borrowed from Samantha who's blog you can find here. As you can see, the red lipstick from the Cruella line is just fabulous! I just had to buy that one after seeing it applied ;) On our arrival we were greeted with red cinnamon cupcakes and cranberry cocktails! Yummm!

After the demonstration it was time to go back upstairs to the actual store and have a play with the collection. I am a sucker for Disney so this collection was right up my street! Some people may find it a little tacky or childish perhaps but I lurrrve it. Here is a sneek peek of the counter and some of the products:

These are the gorrrgeous Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo's - which I made a sneeky purchase of!

When we were upstairs it was a great opportunity to do a bit of socialising and I met the wonderful Richie Nickel who's blog you can find here.

He was so lovely and looked amazing! Check out those purple lips! Fierce!

Here is a picture of Richie, Milly and I, taken in front of the 'photo area'. Here you got the chance to have your makeup done by one of the makeup artist using the new products from the Venomous Villains collection and then dress up as Cruella (complete with huge fur coat and a black and white wig). You could then have a Polaroid picture taken which you could take home with you. Lovely!

The whole evening was great and deffinately worth traveling all that way for. I would like to that the people at MAC (if you are reading this!) for a wonderful evening!
