Work out how much cash you'd usually spend on another half/that you've spend on an ex in the past and put it aside. Go out and spend all the cash on yourself, buying whatever you want! Even if its a really selfish damn right dirty treat like spending £150 on underwear - go and do it. It beats being disappointed and having to pretend to like whatever silly presents blokes give anyway - be glad that you miss out on that this Christmas! For extra fun, wrap the present really pretty, add a tag that's addressed to you and sit it underneath your Christmas tree, ready to open on the day. (Or the night before, alone, if it is something like underwear :P) Better yet, why not write on the tag that it's from a really fit celebrity, how can you complain when you have that sitting underneath your tree at Christmas?!
